Our history

In 1978, we founded Starving Plumbers, originally called Economy Plumbing, to offer expert plumbing services at affordable prices. But for whatever reason, Economy Plumbing never became the household name we had dreamed it could be. So after a comprehensive, thought-provoking, creatively-intense brainstorming session, we came up with Starving Plumbers, and the name clicked. (It must have, or you wouldn't have clicked on starvingplumbers.com.)

In 1985 we moved to Larkspur Landing. We stayed there until 2015 before relocating to our current Terra Linda location. We're centrally located just off 101, with quick, easy access throughout most of Marin.

Our experienced plumbers are the plumbing experts for Marin's value-conscious customers, including anyone who wants extraordinary, high-touch service for their plumbing needs. We built our business person-by-person, relationship-by-relationship, and referral-by-referral.
